the keys to freedom

Why is it that once we are granted a certain responsibility, we see it as a chance as freedom? More responsibility is really just another thing to worry about. So is that really freedom? Once people start having more responsibilities, they become arrogant, pompous idiots. A perfect example is when you recieve your N for driving. When you come home, you instantly expect to be allowed to drive the family car. Your parents decline. So, you throw a verbal fit to try to taint your parents view. What if you had failed the test? Would this situation even occur? These always happen. It happens when we ace a test or impress a certain person. Yes, these examples could be examples of confidence-boosters but I am looking at the other side. We expect freedom when we accomplish minor things. We should be looking at the whole picture.
